One Hour That Shook the World

(Trump’s America and the New World Order, Part 7)

Ukrainian President Zelensky’s visit to the White House lasted less than an hour, but it shook the world. Let’s highlight several moments and outline its possible consequences.

  1. Washington had been sending signals to Kyiv for five days before the meeting that Zelensky should not come and meet Trump in person. Keith Kellogg, special envoy for Russia and Ukraine, was especially against Zelensky’s visit.

The “Agreement on Rare Earths” is in fact a framework agreement and requires further elaboration, and could have been signed by the Prime Minister or Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, without Zelensky’s visit to the United States. Kiev insisted on a visit and a personal meeting between the presidents. Most of the European leaders supported Kiev.

It was clear that Zelensky intended to use the meeting to convince Trump to continue to help Ukraine in its war and to abandon the peace agreement with Russia.

Zelensky’s last chance to stay alive

For Zelensky, the Ukrainian trap created with his most active participation, has finally slammed shut, and he has little chance of staying alive until the end of 2024.

Vladimir Putin’s statement that Zelensky has legally ceased to be the legitimate president of Ukraine does not only mean that no document signed by Zelensky from this time onwards, will be considered legal by the Kremlin, or that Putin will not negotiate with Zelensky, but also that Moscow now does not consider itself obligated to take into account security of Zelensky as legitimate head of state on whose territory Russia is conducting its special military operation.

Prior to this statement, throughout the war, wherever Zelensky appeared, including on the front positions with the most active fighting, the Russian armed forces used to stop launching artillery or airstrikes.

War goes out of control of Kiev and Moscow

I had to interrupt the series “World War of Sanctions”, because in order to further analyze what is happening on the fronts of the economic war between the West, on the one hand, and the Russia-China-India group and those who joined them, on the other, it is necessary to understand what is happening now on the fronts of Ukraine, as well as what has happened on March 29 in Istanbul, where after Russian-Ukrainian negotiations, the Russian participants made, as many thought, strange and even shocking statements. 

So, what happened in Istanbul?

                                                    Splits in Ukraine and Russia

After the meeting in Istanbul, the Ukrainian delegation did not make any statement, but quietly moved into negotiations with the Turkish government on the purchase of new military drones “Bayraktar TB2”. By that time, all the Bayraktars available to Ukraine had been shot down by Russian troops.
